5 years ago, I remember sitting alone in my home office. I posted a picture of Facebook and captioned it "A Restored Confidence". With tears in my eyes, I saw a woman beautiful on the outside, but inwardly felt rejected, overlooked, and unworthy to sit at the table. I disguised the pain and disappointment by becoming an overachiever, but I still felt as if my voice was suppressed. I felt suffocated by my insecurities. My confidence had been shaken to the core in just about every area of my life. Knowing I possessed something great on the inside, I knew my voice deserved to be heard. I could no longer allow my insecurities nor the opinions of others to validate my gifts, talents, and abilities. I developed the confidence to speak up and create a platform to help others rise and unapologetically become the best version of themselves.
